Josh Payne (1st Team)
Josh Payne signed at the back end of last season and has been a regular with the firsts ever since. September has seen Josh begin to excel in his defensive midfield role where his tenacious tackling and outstanding aerial ability has given LPFC the stability to earn 2 clean sheets in their opening 4 games. Most impressively, Josh has improved his retention of the ball and having appeared to have developed his decision making, he has caught the eye of his teammates throughout September and has sealed the seasons first Player of the Month award
Aelijah Barnett (2nd Team)
Good start to the season from Lampton Park Reserves. Great effort from the whole team with a collectively hard working performance from all players.Stand out performances week in, week out, from training to matches came from Aelijah Barnett who has earned his player of the month award. It is fair to say that the award is well deserved having scored 4 goals in 4 games which contributed towards some very important wins for the team.
Dougie Hillman (1st Team)
October saw Lampton continue their ambitious push for another league title. Unfortunately, this month has seen the squad suffer an incredible number of injuries and this has been reflected in LPFCs stuttering form. Despite this, Lampton have achieved clean sheets in 3 out of 4 league games this month and with central defender Dougie the clubs joint-leading scorer, it is of little surprise he was voted October Player of the Month. 4 goals in 5 matches this month added to his assured defensive displays despite a carousel of defensive teammates, Dougie has been an important component in the teams surge to the top of the league. Dougie will be hoping to see the team become more consistent and build on this early-season form he has displayed.
